I started working with Matt in 2015 after I retired and he helped set up my SMSF. His advice was very timely in managing the tax implications of my super before I turned 65, something previous advisers had never addressed. I live south of Sydney yet find no issues in dealing with the team in Brisbane. Meetings are organised quarterly via phone, and Matt will come and see me when he is in Sydney. Anything I need to sign is either sent by Express Post or using Docusign. 2 years ago when I went back to work, the necessary paperwork was organised promptly for the company's superannuation payments. Nothing is too much trouble - the whole team at Wealth Fundamentals are happy to assist. I am always happy to recommend Wealth Fundamentals for any financial advice and support.

We have been using Wealth Fundaments for about 30 months as we have journeyed into retirement. This has involved looking at our superannuation strategy and consolidating our finances. This has not been a straight-forward journey with Australian and international assets and a death in the family. An added complication was the need to be compliant with Australian Superannuation legislation and be recognised as a Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme (QROPS) by the UK government. All the way through the journey, Wealth Fundamentals has been supportive, patient and responsive. The team is knowledgeable and understands lifes ups and downs for retirees. Wealth Fundamentals have gone the extra mile several times for us. Wealth Fundamentals recommended partners who were able transfer my UK Pension fund to Australia promptly and provide appropriate advice that confirmed the most cost-effective strategy. This included discovering that I was also entitled to a UK State Pension. With good early financial returns for our Self-Managed Super Fund, we have been impacted by Covid-19 and the associated market adjustments. Our strategy remains sound and we are already seeing promising signs of recovery. We regularly observe Wealth Fundamentals proactive management. This includes regular reviews of strategy, investment performance, cash management and estate planning. As part of our selection process for a Financial Advisor, extensive research was conducted followed by reference checks. We have not been disappointed by our choice and we feel that we will have a comfortable retirement.
