Dr Richard Kahler

As most of you would be visiting a Neurosurgeon in a state of anxiety and fear - it is likely that any directness from the Doctor would perhaps appear abrupt. I have had this beforewith other Doctors. We must remember, they are human and dealing with serious, sometimes deadly issues. I found Dr Kahler somewhere in the middle on my first visit. With each subsequent visit he has become warmer. Now this could be that I am more comfortable with my condition or, and I believe this is so, my trust in him has grown. I would not go to anyone else and I trust his diagnosis and treatment options completely. I would rather have a brilliant Doctor - fantastic in his job any day , than a jokey friendly one who makes mistakes :-)

Dr Kahler is an excellent surgeon and has helped me out with my spinal issues. I am pain free and able to get on with life very quickly. Has a surgeon's usual demeanor but I wasn't in there to make a new best friend. Highly recommended.

Richard is an outstanding neurosurgeon and physician. He provides long term care for complex issues and involved me in the options and decision making.

Dr Kahler was caring and compassionate. He was exceptionally accurate with my diagnosis and treatment. It has now been two years since he performed my difficult surgery and I have nothing but praise for his work. I had been warned about his manner but I found him very friendly and we shared some laughs.
