Brisbane Hand and Plastic Surgery, Dr Dan Rowe

Very impressed with Dr K Rowe. Dr Rowe was not on call yet took me on as a patient when an ER Doctor reached out. Great team with an awesome Registrar. All very approachable, supportive and friendly. Loved Dr Tony as well. No issue with fees as if you want the best, you have to pay for the best and then you know you are in great hands. Awesome team and I would highly recommend.

My wife was sent to the emergency rooms on Saturday afternoon of New years Eve, after having no relief from antibiotics due to a hand infection caused by a cat claw. After an untrasound we were told that the infection had got into the thumb joint and needed an operation. We were told that there was a hand surgeon on site who had just finished an operation an he and the theratre staff would stay on to do my wife's hand. It turned out to be Dr Rowe. The operation was performed at about 9.00pm that night. We never saw Dr Rowe again until 8.00pm on Monday night (47 hours after the procedure) and when he did finally arrive the attitude was "I don't give a ****". He needs find a shop that sells bedside manners because he is sadly lacking in that department. He told my wife that she go home the next day but didn't say anything about after care such as being able to get the hand wet in the shower or when the stitches were to be taken out. The whole problem only started after a fight with the cat and Rowe is claiming that it is probably caused by arthritis. He didn't seem to know what the problem actually was. I would never use this alledge Dr. and wouldn't even recommend him to my worst enemy. I have given him one star because I am not able to give him a negative score. I wish to apologise to Dr Dan Rowe. I thought that I was doing a revue on Dr. Keiren Rowe. I tried to cancel the revue but it seems to have been posted.

Well what can I say; Dr Dan Rowe took me on, for a major operation in cutting out the big C. on my face . After I had previously had an operation here in Mackay that never got it all. As you know, our appearance, both to men and woman, is Super important. It was necessary to follow through with more surgery, after another three weeks. Dr Dan cleverly and skilfully and wonderfully performed an outstanding operation; in allowing me to keep my mega, good looks, (Lol) with no skin graft. That is to me the best present anybody could give me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to Dr Dan Rowe and his team. Martin McCann. Ward 37 Greenslopes Private Hospital.

Im now 6 weeks post op from my breast reduction with Dr Kieran Rowe and I could not fault him or nurse Katie. The scars have healed beautifully and they look so close to the reference picture already! Nurse Katie has been so patient and comforting dealing with my anxiety during the healing process. Could not recommend the team enough!

Both Dr Dan and Dr Kieran Rowe work from these rooms. My review is regarding Dr Kieran Rowe. I have had a few surgeries with Kieran Rowe and honestly was happy with first 2 surgeries. My final surgery was a facelift and blepharoplasty. This surgery was unsuccessful in terms of still having a droopy neck. One of my eyes required revision as it was drooping, this droop was fixed but a recent consult with another surgeon indicates my eye may now be slightly webbed. My neck has been the most disappointing and has been like this within a few months of surgery. I had a few consultations with Dr Kieran regarding this and we were discussing revisiting it, but it was only at the final consultation that I was told that I would have to pay for a full facelift again! This was never discussed in any of the consultations. I was completely mind blown by this. I thought there may be some costs but dont understand why I would have to pay a lot of money out twice for something that should have been done properly from the outset. Ideally it should have been a revision with no charge, but I understand that there are costs and salaries and was open minded and willing to pay some money but no way was I going to pay for the same surgery twice! I have had a couple of recent consultations and each has recommended that I go back to my original surgeon as they believe he is responsible. Dr Kieran Rowe has no interest in discussing this with me unless I want to pay him again. Indeed, just no interest at all. I would have originally been a supporter and advocate of Dr Rowe, but he has not stood by his work on this occasion and as as soon as the end of your surgery journey is in sight, his interest wains. If you want to feel that you have a surgeon who is there to achieve the discussed outcome rather than just doing multiple surgeries at your expense, then I would look elsewhere. So very disappointed with this surgeon and his attitude/aftercare.
