Dr Mahendra Meta (Hip & Knee Replacement Specialist Brisbane)

On 3 March 2022, I (Carey Flynn) had a hip replacement done by the surgeon Dr Mahendra Meta (Hip & Knee Replacement Specialist at Greenslopes Private Hospital). Dr Meta's team of professional Pre-operative specialists namely: Dr Mathew Joseph (Physician & Geriatrician); and Dr Matt Routley (Greenslopes Anaesthesia Services) were of the highest professional and approachable services. Once I was discharged from Greenslopes Private Hospital after surgery, Dr Meta was always available to speak to me to ease my concerns I had, regarding the post-operative surgery. I found that to be so reassuring and absolutely impressive!! Dr Meta is a such genuine, caring surgeon, (post and pre-op) which throughout my previous major surgeries with other surgeons I have not envisaged. Two weeks after surgery I had continued appointments with: Tim Long - Kathekon Physiotherapy Greenslopes Private Hospital. I found Tim Long to be of the highest professional physiotherapist and genuine. Dr Meta has gathered a team of highly skilled professionals to work under his banner, which is an asset to such a successful specialised organisation. Dr. Meta is a exceptional Surgen who was very through in Preparing for my very difficult Total Hip replacement Surgery , due to this being the sixth prosthesis on my right Hip over the last 50 years. I'm Totally impressed with the final results Now 3 months past op . He has been able to equalise the length of my Right led and remove the External Rotation of this leg after 25 years since the previous Hip Operation in Sydney. Even in my 78th. year I am now walking with a greatly reduced limp and with no pain without any assistance of a cane I can not prase Dr. META highly enough for his brilliant skill and patient concern , care and consideration David Hermes

Dr Meta did a wonderful job with my replacement knee surgery. Dr Meta and his team fully addressed all my concerns before and after surgery. I highly recommend Dr Meta.
