Dr Alexandra Mowat

I had a referral from my gynaecologist and rang dr Mowatts rooms after 4 weeks asking when I might hear something. After 8 weeks I rang again and was informed dr Mowatt triages all referrals herself so it would still be a little while. At no time has that practice phoned me I cancelled my referral. Im going somewhere else and was easily able to make an appointment over the phone I believe my experience shows a complete disregard for a patients welfare by a medical professional

Took my elderly mother to Dr Alex Mowat for some advice. My mother was extremely anxious about the appointment, and Dr Alex did not accommodate this. Unfortunately Dr Alex has no people skills, lacks empathy and made both my mother and myself uncomfortable asking questions. There are much nicer and professional gynaecologists out there ladies.

Alex is a knowledgeable, caring and confident surgeon and makes you feel comfortable about asking questions. I had an anterior and posterior repair in addition to a hysterectomy and oophrectomy. I would recommend her as a highly competent surgeon.
