JPD Concreting Specialists

I wish I had read previous reviews before enlisting JPD. As it was said in a previous review, I was happy with the services and friendly nature of the staff until the work started. We were so disappointed with the Job. It is a lot of money to get bad workmanship. The finish of our Job is extremely poor. It was done on a rainy day, and the colour ended up being way lighter than requested, with a very uneven broom finish and pitted like the craters on the moon. When I asked for a solution to rectify this, I was told its normal and given nothing but excuses and made to feel like it was my fault the colour was wrong. They took absolutely no ownership of their work or to give a reasonable solution. Service: Concrete driveway building

I used JPD to remove some concrete slabs, tree stumps, cleanup my backyard and level the ground to lay top soil and turf. I was happy with their service until they started the work and then quickly became dissatisfied with their communication and the quality of the job they did. They did not communicate with me or my partner that they had finished their work and I had to get them back to fix the levelling which was not even in parts. The retaining wall and fence where they accessed the backyard is destroyed and now I have to pay for its repair. Most frustratingly, I was quoted to get them to lay top soil which I agreed to and signed all the paperwork agreeing to that price, only for them to tell me at the end of the job there was a typo in the original quote and want to charge me an extra $1000 to do the same work, without any apology or honouring system of the price I signed for. I have tried to express my frustration and discuss this with the owner of the company but have received no reply or word from anyone about my concerns. I would recommend others to be wary and do your research. Services: Demolition, Concrete cutting
