I was a Guide at Stafford from 1973-1984, when I had to join the Windsor Park Rangers as there wasn't a Ranger Unit, there was only a Ranger-Guide Unit, also as an assistant 2nd Brownies leader. I loved my time there. When I was 13, in 1976, I collapsed on the floor; a couple of the 1st Stafford Guides ran to a house close by and rang the ambulance. I had a cerebral brain aneurysm and luckily, I survived thanks to the Guiding Unit. Thank you Stafford Guiding for saving my life. Warmest regards, Vickii Barry nee Theoharris.
