We heard good reports about Hielscher from friends and after two earlier disappointing explorations we were hoping for a better result and we were not disappointed. David arrived promptly and explained the whole process in detail including the most suitable configuration for our needs and likely energy cost savings. When we decided to go ahead the office arranged an installation date to suit us and followed-up as the date approached to reiterate what exactly would happen on the day. The installation team arrived on time and Brock ensured we knew what would happen and likely timescale. He and his team worked efficiently with no fuss and finished on time as promised. Brock spent as much as we needed to fully understand the equipment and he helped install the app on our mobile phone. We highly recommend Hielscher.

After an extensive and thorough selection process, we elected to have Hielschler Electrical instal a 33.15kW solar system at the Port Douglas Cayman Villas Resort. Throughout both the tender and the installation, our primary contact Carolynne and the rest of the team have been extremely helpful and professional. The panels we chose are discrete, blending well with our newly painted roof. We are very happy with the final system and the whole process was a seamless one. The ability to live track the system status is a real bonus and we look forward to reaping the long term cost benefits provided by the Hielscher team. Thank you.

It's been about 6 months since we had our system installed by the team at Hielscher, and we couldn't be more please with the performance, as well as the initial install and setup. Dave was great, and super patient with us (I'm a pain in the butt) during the quoting/ordering phase, and Brenton did an awesome job with the install. Would highly recommend the team here, honestly the best in Cairns.

Having decided take the plunge into solar, I decided to look for recommendations and quotes for installation and used the well regarded Solar Quotes for 3 suggested providers. Only 2 of the recommended providers responded and both produced quotes for similar, but not identical systems, that were within my budget. Still looking for a third quote, I went through Solar Quotes evaluation of installers to find one that worked specifically in my regional area as the original 2 quotes were National companies with very few reviews for my area. Hielscher Electrical stood out as a local installer with excellent reviews and I approached them for a quote. Later the same day I had a visit from their representative who went through the range of products and options they offered - this included an on-roof inspection to look at potential panel locations. The quote I received shortly after was similar in price to my earlier quotes but, to my mind, provided superior components -so the final decision to go with Hielscher was an easy one. Having made my decision, I was told that the installation lead time would be 10 - 12 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised when 5 weeks later I received a call informing me that installation would take place in 10 days time, a lead time of only 6 weeks. On the appointed day the 4 man team arrived right on time. Less than 3 hours the system installation was complete and after a walkthrough of the components and their use, the system was up and running and producing power. A fantastic job by the team worked so hard and finally cleaned up so well that you would not know that they had been there. The installation included a Fronius power monitor and it provides a fantastic amount of detail of power being produced as well as a time line of actual consumption. A very useful device that will be of great use in tailoring power usage to suit solar generation. Overall I could not be more satisfied with the service I received from every member if the Hielscher Electrical team and would be happy the recommended them to any one looking for a solar system installer.
