Great experience building this simple 3m x 1.8m deck for my studio room. Much easier than the studio stumps and levels and cementing. Just dug it out, roadbase & tamp, then ToughBlocks. Made it super simple for a home bodger like me with no prior building experience. Great product.

We had an old concrete porch removed for restumping and I was working out the cost of a new timber deck. Stumps, timber, labour and other costs made it very expensive to replace, so I started looking for alternatives to stumps plus I want to do the job myself. I discovered TuffBlocks from buildtuff. I completed my deck, made it the same height a the front door and it was so simple to get the levels and they went straight onto a firm gravel substrate. They were so easy and simple to use I brought more to do a deck out the rear of the home. My front porch measured 5.7mts x 2.7mts, my rear deck is 4mts x 6mts and I am sure I will have pleasure doing the rear deck

These were so much easier to use than heavy block. I had to work around some immovable rocks and was able to be flexible in placing these to provide plenty of support. Would definitely recommend.
