arthritisCARE - Rheumatologist Brisbane

Dr Zia couldn't have been a more impatient, dismissive or contemptuous person than at my last appointment...which she went out of her way to ensure, (and also repeatedly scrawled over my medical form), was my "final" visit at "her clinic", ArthritisCare. The experience that the other 1-star reviewers describe as having with a female doctor/specialist at Arthritis Care is disconcertingly similar to my experience with Dr Zia. The most charitable thing I can say is that I've never had anyone treat me and my chronic pain condition as more of a bothersome, time-wasting piece of nothing than Dr Zia did - and done so overtly and with such impunity. Absolutely disgusting, inexcusable and something I'll never forget.

Wasn't going to review but would not recommend. Total waste of time and money. Didn't take much notice of my questions, I was told to sit down and listen when I tried to get her attention by demonstrating and explaining the plan she was giving me was the exact same plan as GP and I had been working with for two years which was why I had made the appointment to see her. Dr appeared to have no more expertise than my GP, simply looked at the scan reports and gave me the same old once over. I was unbelievably disappointed considering the effort it took for me to get there. And if I remember correctly I think she may have even said to me that she was not a magician when I asked about pain being out of proportion to the arthritis and I was told it was due to depression. Really! Definitely a lack of communication and I found it frustrating, upsetting and totally unsatisfactory. I had high hopes that this would be a professional, informative session. Sadly no.
