Gary from Why Wait Plumbing completed my Water Efficiency Certificate. From the booking to the completion of the service I was very happy with everything that was provided. I was kept up to date via email and phone. And have them booked out again at our new home to install fridge plumbing. I would not hesitate in referring Why Wait Plumbing. After making contact via email, I was given a day, but no specific time for attendance, even after specifically asking for confirmation. Then I received a call from a plumber who was outside my house when I was not home. When I advised that it was never confirmed that he was attending on that day or what time, he said that they would reschedule and the office would contact me. Unsurprisingly, I have had zero contact since. **update: within 10mins of writing this review I have been contacted and offered a next day attendance. The reason given by the company for my experience was miscommunication. I have chosen not to accept this service and will seek assistance elsewhere.

I rarely write reviews on businesses but feel this one needs to be shared. After searching on Google I found this business and the services listed mentioned what we need. I phoned the number and as it was outside business hours (I hadn't realised as the website says 24/7) and I spoke to a person who said he was the after hours contact. I explained our issue and what we need and he said yes, they can definitely help and if I email some photos or call the office during office hours they will help. So I took the photos, went back to the website to find an email - no email so phoned the office. The person who answered used a different business name so I asked her if this was Whywait Plumbing and she said Whywait had merged with Waterfox? I think that is what she said - she spoke so quickly was hard to understand. Then straight away, before I had the chance to explain what I needed she blurted out that I can't get a plumber today as they are fully booked and possibly Monday would be available (despite the website saying same-day service, 7 days per week). So I politely explained that I don't need a plumber today and explained our issue and that the website mentions it as a service and the after hours person I spoke to yesterday afternoon said they absolutely can help. I said I was told to take photos and email them. There was silence on the phone - then she said if I wanted to email the photos I could and she could ask the Director but they really don't provide the service we need. So I very politely gave some feedback and suggested the Whywait website should be taken down as it is clearly no longer in business and the services offered are clearly not offered and there seems to be major confusion with the person on the after hours number as to what is actually offered and what is not offered. The person I spoke to in the office today was not rude but very blunt, sounded in a hurry and needs some customer service training. So...if you see this and phone the number listed you won't be calling Whywait Plumbing and expect to be treated very poorly on the phone.
