I would like in addition to acknowledging to all the great work of Redland city bulletin , put an end to paper delivery by van to me if possible. nowadays people hear the news or read the news from their phone iPad or subscribe on line. Paperless is being practiced almost every where. Beside that important point, the way it is delivered is raising a big question in my mind! It used to be a job for people who would like to walk and get some cash. Now I see a van driven by one person and the other throws the paper on your driveway. I live in a corner, so I get 2 papers. :( Both straight to the recycling bin unfortunately. I really would like to put a stop to my paper delivery and I am starting from here. I hope to get some results.

Since I moved to Victoria Point in 2012, This so-called newspaper - actually an advertisement publication - has been dumped on my property, or on the footpath or road in front of my home. Because I don't read it or want to waste my time carrying it to the rubbish bin, I have called and requested it not be dumped at my home. This request has usually been complied with, but in the latest instance I have complained for four weeks in a row, but it is still being dumped at my property. This is despite the prominent 'No Junk Mail' sign on my letterbox, which I doubt the deliverers/dumping contractors have ever read or would respect if they had. I am really sick of this business dumping their unwanted advertising and after I complain and they cease, starting again after a few weeks to months. They claim they inform the deliverer, but if so this is obviously ignored.
