I have the greatest respect for Dr Ben Hunt and Dr Jodi Harker at the Cardiac Centre. The rest of the team were also great I am so happy to have my heart health in their hands

Absolutely shallow approach, especially Dr Smith.. I don't know what I paid for there.. I do NOT recommend this place, don't go there please.

An outstanding physician in all respects but more - a man of compassion.. He gave me a gift beyond price by truncating the time for organising a second ablation from weeks to 24 hrs to optimise the opportunity to be with my dying wife.

Dr Ben Hunt has been immensely responsive, incredibly compassionate and kind. His explanation of a potential procedure and ongoing care if another health issue doesnt resolve was comprehensive and thorough. He immediately coordinated with specialists who are currently dealing with an acute medical issue I am experiencing and I feel safe knowing that he is part of my specialist team of medical practitioners. I normally never write reviews but feel it necessary to share my experience in this instance. Unfortunately the encounter with Dr Peverill was very disappointing. I had an echo cardiogram done at The Cardiac Centre as previous scans for unrelated issues had indicated there might be a problem with my aorta. The outcome of that scan was that everything is fine and no further action is necessary at this stage. Rather than texting or ringing me to give me the good news, I was obliged to attend an appointment with Dr Peverill. That consultation took literally less than 10 minutes as apart from the result (see above) there was nothing further to discuss. I was charged the full consultation fee of $235 plus $45 for interpretation of the ECG. I also had to take half a day off work to travel up to the Cardiac Centre from Mullumbimby. The other thing I need to mention is the arrogance and lack of respect displayed by Dr Peverill. After addressing me by my first name at the start of the appointment he introduced himself as Dr Peverill. That is not the correct social interaction between a 30 something person and someone nearly twice their age (I'm 60).
