ANZ Branch Chermside

Go in to setup an account. The lady serving us blissfully forgets important documents we need to sign and then calls up threatening to close the account that now has money it Then a week later book in an 11am appointment try to rectify THEIR OWN MISTAKE. Only seen 15 minutes later, I dont think its hard to try and be transparent with costumers and tell them youre running late. Anyway we sit down and the new lady helping us doesnt even know what documents need to be signed. Is it too hard to talk to your fellow staff or the person who messed up take on the appointment. No appology was given for being late and definitely none for causing the whole problem in the first place. Very disappointing. Should work on communicating and apologising for causing a whole hullabaloo.

The level of incompetence is astounding. The tellers close at 2pm. Was told to deposit the money through the machine but would need the correct amount of cash. The amount ended in .50c but was then told that the machine doesnt take coins, only notes. Since when are coins not cash? Your staff need training in customer service and common sense, and your machines need to function properly. Stop wasting peoples time.

I found the ANZ branch at Chermside excellent. Lyza and her colleagues were understanding and gave great attention to detail when submitting mortgage documents. Yes they are busy because other branches have closed but they truly try to do their best with their helpful customer service

Rude staff , keep passing you to others yet no result. Esp to chinese staffs there.

Awful customer service. Online failed, ANZ told me to go to the branch. Branch Manager was rude and dismissive advising that they cant see us as they are short staffed (this was at 09:30). Total shambles.
