Crown Currency Exchange (Indooroopilly Shopping Centre)

Not happy with JPY rate. Others much better and the JPY money fold into2. Even my wife already asked to get the new ones. Still get the same. They should maintain all the forex in great conditions.

Appalled at how weve just been ripped off. Bought $250 worth of foreign currency, only to subsequently find a 40% better rate at another outlet. 40%!! I know we should have checked the rate, but having used Crown for years we trusted them. We wont make that mistake again. I should add that I asked them to either improve their rate to match the one offered by Flight Centre. They refused to do this, and refused to buy them back at the same rate.

The staff member who assisted me was looking out for me and made sure I didnt get a surcharge when paying, very appreciated!

Charged a very unfair amount, more than 15% different from spot rates. Within 5 minutes of the transaction we cross checked the numbers and felt cheated and went back to the shop to simply refund and cancel the transaction and they refused despite trying our best to explain the situation. Will be complaining officially to on Fair trade QLD government.

Went to Indooroopilly today to purchase currency. I have been going there for years and have purchased $1,000s of dollars. Their website states that they will match rates but this is not the case. I showed a better rate that I could get from a competitor but they would not match. They have now lost a loyal customer. Disappointing
