Decent station, staff friendly and have advised when trains arrive.

when i first moved here i was able to arrive as a train was arriving, gates would open and i could walk across and into train, so they updated awhile ago and made it worse, you have to walk up and around now and miss the train. So i just made adjustments and made sure i left earlier for train. Now they removed the pay terminal from the exit, so a few times I had to walk back to the middle and back out, so today i thought i'll stop in the middle to swipe and then walk out, nope this time they completely blocked the exit on platform 1 and i had to walk back. FIX things please instead of making them worse. This station just gets more inconvenient as time goes on, it was better without the updates, lots of money spent making it worse.

Absolutely worst station, especially to have its toilets down and limited trains... staff here trying to help the Queensland rail staff aren't allowed to use the toilets they have 2 inside and they will not allow anyone but them to use...... they have a portable toilet, 1 single one.. and the staff on last night and today... Jen Daveys or Davis.. It's her job to clean it, yet she refuses to do so... and laughs right out side it as people go to use it cause she knows how filthy it is and won't stop foot inside it yet as states above... won't let the staff put on to help her be safe and assist with getting people onto the replacement buses, and Security are not allowed to use the safe and clean toilets in the office... why is she employed as she clearly isn't one for safety and health standards as the rest of Queensland Rail? So how is she working for you and being so disgusting with the lack of cleaning and health standards? Sincerely, everyone in Brisbane who cares about not ending up in the hospital due to being attacked or picking up a disease or anything else due to a lack of cleaning and health standards being followed.

The closure of platform 1 access ramp to Barrack Rd makes no sense. No addition payment terminals so peak hour queues to pay are .... What happens when the elevators fail people who cannot use stairs will be stuck on the platform? Also nearly every car that accesses the car park from Barrack does so illegally once a day by crossing a solid line. So much for a station upgrade, avoid this station
