Tiger Tears Cannon Hill (Chinese Restaurant)

Service was fine, I will never hate on service, I know how hard the service industry is. But the food was disappointing to say the least. Portion sizes were abysmal, and dishes were super low quality. My partner and I were excited for some Chinese comfort food, but the bbq pork literally tasted store bought and then just covered in honey (not how you make Chinese bbq pork btw) and the bok Choi was just steam with a tiny drizzle of oyster sauce. No garlic, ginger or chilli. Just straight oyster sauce.!

They just changed the menu with all the authentic Chinese dishes, lovely noodle soup with a lot beef, great value!

Food was pretty good , very relaxed atmosphere. Feels like somewhere a group of friends could really enjoy a drink.

I never write reviews for places unless theyre amazing or Im really disappointed. And this place was disappointing. Went for a date night with my partner. When we got there, most of the items on the food menu were unavailable - thats alright. We can find something from the items available that well still enjoy. The starters were good (deep fried stuff always wins). For mains, my partner got the pork belly, which he enjoyed. I got the black diamond fried noodles - the whole dish was cold. The lobster chunks + noodles were cold and dry. I tried to eat it but I couldnt bring myself to finish it and left most of it on the plate. The drinks we wanted on the drinks menu were also unavailable, so was our second choice (third times a charm). The service was subpar - we were the only people in the restaurant and I had to ask for table water, grab napkins from another table and no one asked us how the food was till the end. Just paid and left.
