Wouldnt recommend for any type of surgery/treatment. Makes too many assumptions and wrong diagnosis. Find another dr.

Workcover related he will fight for workcover and not you. Terrible attitude and didn't even know what new scan types were. Extremely unhappy with results

I suffered with terrible foot pain for months. I was convinced I needed an operation to fix me. I consulted with Dr Shepherd who quickly diagnosed plantar fasciitis and reccommended non-surgical treatment. I was quite resistant to this as I heard there was an operation. Dr Shepherd patiently explained that while there was an operation, because my pain was caused by my habits surgery really wouldn't really fix the underlying problem. I followed his advice and through physio and altering my behaviours I have been able to fix the problem long term. The upshot was I was keen for an operation and it would have been easy to sign me up. However, Dr Shepherd was interested in my long term health not short term gain. Thanks Doc.
