Mortgage Ezy Home Loans

I used to have couple of home loans with these guys. I luckily refinanced in time. I sent them emails to provide me statements so I can calculate interest charged and as I need to claim and file my Tax return. They have not bothered to even reply to those emails. I have sent them reminders too but they don't bother.

Extremely poor customer service. Very long delays taking us onboard (we should have taken this as a sign). We had to move settlement & redo all our paperwork with our broker several times as the dates kept lapsing. Once everything was settled we rarely heard from Mezy & we could never get in touch. I hand delivered our Discharge authority on 9th March to reduce any further delays. When I told them I would do this instead of posting they argued the point with me and I had to get them to speak to a manager because they wouldn't confirm the physical address for me to drop them too. We have currently been waiting 6wks to get the form processed. I've called several times and been read the same script. Then they tried to say that the signatures were different (passport in maiden name), I explained that's why my marriage certificate was included & everything has been lawfully sighted & sign by a JP, and more to the point these were literally the exact same documents they accepted when taking on our loan. We are extremely unhappy with Mezy and would advice you not to sign with them. They kept telling me the papers were with their solicitors, this was a complete untruth as my solicitor called their solicitor and they had not been instructed to do anything from Mezy in regards to our loan discharge. We will be taking matters further if our discharge isn't processed by monday. They kept saying "we have escalated your request" but this had no effect on the wait times. I raised my concern that when we spoke to someone over the phone that there was a large language barrier. The people on the phone were pleasent (bar one) but we just couldn't fully understand them & they often had trouble understanding what we were calling for, or how to help. Paris in reception was a delight & wonderful help though. As a comparison 3 of our friends have refinanced from their banks and it was completely finalized within a matter of 1-3wks.

Terrible service and inefficient processing delays. 21 days to discharge a mortgage is unacceptable.

The service is absolutely appalling. Keep getting promised my discharge is being actioned and/or processed, however my solicitor and new lender are still waiting after 3 weeks. Avoid this lender.
