We drove the 2.5 hours down to see him today for my 4year old daughter. Absolutely amazed by him. He had our plan within 5 minutes of meeting him. He took the time to make our daughter and us calm, happy and completely trusting. I can't recommend him enough.

Our Daughter has been sick since October 2020 and has been given a referral from our local GP. Referral date: 25/02/2021. We have taken our daughter to the Friendlies Emergency Department three times because she is unable to breathe. All documented. Whoever is at the front desk of Dr Chris Ryans office is lacking manner, dismissive when I politely asked for our Daughter to be seen to before seven weeks. Quote: oh, if there were any cancellations, everyone would be lining up, we dont do that. I spoke with a medical practice receptionist today, Dr Elphanstone, an Ear Nose & Throat Specialist and within five minutes the receptionist was checking for cancellations to fit patients in so surely its not difficult? I have called our regular GP multiple times and requested he contact Dr Ryan as advised by Dr Ryans receptionist. Apparently our Daughter is able to be seen within two weeks of referral if directly called from our GP, this is what was explained by the receptionist. I will be calling our regular GP for the fourth time tomorrow to follow up once again. When it comes to a child who is finding it difficult to breathe and has been to the emergency department five times, inclusive of the Gin Gin Emergency Department since October 2020 this practice is not okay and there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to triage here. Our Daughter has also had her four year old vaccinations put on hold until she is able to see Dr Chris Ryan. I am sorry to have to write this review. Our family are exhausted to no end.
