Gold Coast Piano Teacher

We have been learning piano with Brian since June last year and I am so surprised how far the kids have come in this short time. Brian is very patient and encouraging and at the same time makes sure they learn the right techniques. I love that he chooses pieces that the kids enjoy playing which builds their confidence and joy for playing. I highly recommend Brian as a piano teacher.

Brian is an amazing piano teacher. He is tremendously calm and patient - I cannot stress enough how patient he is! He focuses on teaching you the correct techniques by explaining them in different ways until it "clicks" for you so you can fully understand. He emphasises the need to choose pieces you want to play to make the process of learning new skills more enjoyable. He provides reflective advice and suggestions to improve whilst being encouraging and maintaining the belief that you can achieve your goals (even if you doubt your ability at times). I would highly recommend Brian to help you on your piano journey!

Professionalism, attentiveness with a high level of understanding of students' needs. Not just tell you what to do, but why and the stories behind it. If you like to learn how to play piano, YouTube is good enough, if you want to explore the beauty of it, Brian can help.

Brian is a great teacher and I would recommend him highly! As an adult learner, he takes things slowly and is flexible with his teaching skills to accommodate me yet working towards my goal of sitting for AMEB. His lessons are easy to follow and he always explains queries at your level, his patience is to be praised and he always stresses proper hand and finger positions to avoid bad habits down the track. The learning environment is amazing with grand piano and a quiet neighbourhood. Easy access to the Pacific fair after the lesson is another plus point!

My daughter has been enjoying her piano lessons with Brian for about 1.5 years now. My daughter has had multiple teachers in the pass. I am thoroughly impressed by Brians teaching style, patient, encouraging and professional . He focuses on technique and detail but also makes Piano fun!! The progress Ive seen is enormous!
