Jason already knew my hair better than me (who's known it for 30 odd years) at the first meeting. Haha. But seriously - I gave him a hard task: "Dont dry it out but turn it from brunette into blonde tips (ombre)... Oh and don't really cut it but make the ends healthy again please." His wizardry made it happen. I do not know how. The last time I had an ombre colour elsewhere, my hair felt broken and dry for a very long time and I was terrified to try again. Can highly recommend and not thank him enough to make my hair pretty for our wedding. Services: Hairstyling, Blowouts, Ombre hair color

Lincoln and the experience at Gilson Four Hairdressing is on a whole other level. Lincoln acts with clear intent, consideration and kindness. They gave me personalised advice, which is transformative for how I interact with my hair, and a hair cut that took the style I came in with and refined it to match me. The space and approach taken by Lincoln are also quite friendly for neurodivergent people with sensory issues. I felt that, should I have needed to, advocating for myself would be met with non-infantilising compassion and respectful accomodation. Their conscientious approach to touch surprised me in a very nice way. I left without the high level of sensory overload I have come to expect from getting my hair cut, washed, and styled.
