I work in mining and mineral separation technology. I have already seen an instance where a major competitor has had to provide an inferior alternative solution due to the patent protections we submitted through the help of Cullens and now Spruson & Ferguson. As far as I know the competitor has not progressed while we've racked up a few wins. We have a number of different patents. In the experience I have gained I would still always choose to work with a patent attorney to make sure our hard work is properly protected.
