Dr Richard Williams

Associate Professor Richard Williams is a very skilled spinal surgeon. I broke my back from slipping on a wet driveway. Scans were done and Dr Williams picked up that my back was broken and that I was in severe pain. He conducted further XRays and MRI and scans to ensure that his diagnosis was correct. He operated on me on 9 March 2023 and despite being in excruisiating pain I felt that the break was fixed immediately after surgery and the pain I had was just surgery pain. I have a lot of hardware in my spine but this surgery has been very successful. The man is a genius and I cannot recommend him high enough. He does not go in gung ho and he checks and plans how to fix your problem. If I could give him 10/10 i would. Lets hope Associate Professor Richard Williams is around for a long time to help others. He is a gifted surgeon and I would not allow anyone else to operate on my spine. We are very lucky to have such a fine surgeon in Brisbane. And thankyou to his 2 amazing receptionists Michelle and Jess for making this very painful journey run so smoothly. I am grateful to get my life back. Thankyou Catherine O'Donnell

I can't recommend Dr R Williams enough. I had a tumor on my spine and needed reconstructive surgery. I was very scared and travelled to Brisbane just for his care and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I called his office, his receptionist were so lovely and organised all my scans and tests. I knew I was seeing the best in his field. I could barely walk and 8 weeks post op you wouldn't think I had major spinal surgery. Dr Williams is very kind, thorough and a brilliant surgeon, I'm so grateful for the amazing job he has done on my spine.

Husband has had several ops with dr Richard Williams over numerous years witth the lattest on 8th april 2021 . In all cases he and his staff have been fantastic in looking after us and explaining what the op will intail . Could not find a better doctor anwhere. Regards virginia

After suffering many years of lower back pain, I saw Dr Williams today and thank god I did! He is extremely helpful and caring. Dr Williams and his team organised all my scans before seeing him so that my appointment ran smoothly. I really loved that you just see him. He was able to diagnosis and treat my back and I am just so thankful for everything he has done. I would happily recommend him to anyone! Wonderful experience and life changing outcome! Thank you so much Dr Williams and team!
