Drive for 20 minutes and connected my hire car EV, set up the app and started charging. Machine stopped within 30 seconds without explanation. I called the help line but after 10 minutes messing around with an offshore attendant, she explained that the machine was offline without any advice as to why or for how long. Ended up leaving without charging. Reinforces my thoughts that the infrastructure for EVs is just not there yet. No plans to buy an EV Real soon!!

An excellent charging location. It would be good to see some roof covering, and also perhaps a bin. When I visited 1 charger was offline but with 3 others that's not an issue.

13/3/2023 UPDATE: Rolled in with 0% to discover that 2 of the chargers (1st and 4th) are not working. One lady in a Kona took two parking spaces for herself and was at like 95% meanwhile one other guy in a leaf had to wait. Bit of a joke here now, c'mon Evie this is disappointing I've never had problems with your chargers before today. Seriously once your charge is above 80% you're literally not fast charging anymore and your just wasting your own time and other peoples time! SHOW SOME CONSIDERATION! Old review: 4 x 50kw CCS or Chademo chargers. To get here you need to take the DFO exit on Airport Drive, stay on "The Cct" all the way down to the final roundabout in front of "Skygate Home & Life". Turn right there and head past Skygate until you come to a small carpark at the side of Skygate which says "Staff Parking". The chargers are hiding beside big electrical boxes. Car spaces are a little small, I think they should be wider especially for Tesla's which have rear side charging ports (God help you if you have a model X). If this becomes popular then there will be cables everywhere. It's far away from DFO and a bit of a walk to Skygate Home & life. I think signage needs to be in place to help EV owners find this place. At the moment it's kind of hidden.
