We have experienced the same as Victoria who has posted this review. We signed in December 2022 and now its mid March. They were the same offering to instal in the January if we signed the Contract and paid the deposit. No contrsct unless we contact.

We first started talking with Sunmate Solar in August 2022, then signed a contract for $3149 inc. of GST for a 6.6kw system plus inverter on the 12th September 2022. We were told upon signing the contract by Justin - Account Manager, that it would take approximately 2weeks for us to have our solar installed. As soon as we signed the contract and paid the deposit, we received no correspondence from Sunmate Solar with any updates, until well after 2weeks passed and we became proactive in contacting Sunmate Solar for updates ourselves. We have been strung along by this company for almost 6 months now and still do not have our solar installed. We have contacted them over 2x dozen times with promises that they will call back or contact back to no avail. On the 20th December 2022 we received an ultimatum from Isaac - Installation Team, saying that they can now give us a rough install date of mid January 2023 but only if we sign a new contract with their 2023 prices equating to an extra $1000 approx. The ultimatum was sign the new contract and pay the extra $1000 or accept a return of our deposit. We advised that we had a signed contract already for an agreed price and did not accept these terms. We further said that it was a contractual breach by Sunmate Solar not fulfilling their promises and guarentee to install the solar as stated in the contract. We received a response today from Isaac saying he didnt agree with it and again, pay more, or accept the deposit back with litter regard to us as their customers. We are very disappointed as we have been paying high energy bills for nearly 6months, waiting for our install that was promised to be delivered upon by end of September 2022. We are further disappointed that despite fairly good reviews and their website claiming they guarantee their work, they have acted disingenuously by increasing the contract price and pressuring us to sign it or seemingly face the consequences of missing out on the product & service.
