Dr Andrew MacMillan Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon

I was referred to Dr Andrew as I was in severe pain and he excepted to treat me immediately. I am extremely grateful to have been treated by a highly experienced dental surgeon. Dr Andrew is very knowledgeable as he observed and explained my ex-rays. My surgery was prompt the same day as he completed a complex dental issue. I was instantly relieved once the surgery was completed. The surgery followed through with the receptionist/ Dental assistant providing full details on how to care for my mouth (and the whole time I was in the practice I was welcomed and listened to). The surgery followed through with courtesy calls that were generally caring and compassionate from his team. I would like to also note my recovery has had minimal pain. A very big thanks as I had high fears while in so much pain and I can't say a big enough THANK-YOU. So grateful kind regards Jodie

Had wisdom teeth taken out over 6 months ago. Still have a numb chin and saw bottom lip. With no follow up make shore it was done properly. And no Medicare facilities for rebates. I lost my $400 rebate because I couldn't get it done there.

Amazing service pre and post-op, totally seamless! Extremely professional and friendly, and a lovely admin team as well Have since referred 2 friends to visit Dr Andrew for impacted wisdom teeth removal.

I visited Andrew last week about Jaw issues with my TMJ and he was not helpful at all. He acted obnoxiously thinking he knew everything, and said my specialist from Melbourne doesn't know anything. He was also extremely rude. My specialist in Melbourne is amazing and does everything himself. Andrew said I need to go see the Dentist next door (seems to be his friend) and get him to make me a new splint because his is the best in the country and that mine is probably useless and to spend the $1800 to get a new one, but I have to wait 3 months for an appointment to see him as he is very busy. However he never gave me any medication or pain relief for my jaw that was hurting so much in the evenings i was crying. He expected me to wait 3 months for any kind of treatment. He then told me he doesn't want to see me again in his office unless i had really bad pain. Well i already did, but that wasn't good enough apparently. They also have no clue when it comes to Medicare rebate, they had no forms, no physical receipts and his daughter behind the counter didn't even know about the Medicare rebate and had to call someone to find out how it is done, and said that the receipt with the information on it would be emailed to me. 5 days later and still don't have it. I have eczema and I had a flare up on my face that morning due to the humidity, and he thought to tell me that "it looks like a blow torch has gone to your face" EXTREMELY RUDE and INSULTING. Never felt so embarrassed in my life! He then proceeded to tell me to go see a skin specialist and go get so cream and medication to clear it up, as I obviously don't know how to control it. Don't waste your time or money, instead, go see someone that actually cares about your health and believes you and what you tell them.
