NEVER USE BUDGET CAR RENTAL. I rent a car for $512 but they sent me a invoice $979 and i don't know why.

Unethical business. They charged me $83 for gas 2 weeks after I returned the car. Surprised, I pointed them to the online record of the closed contract that showed I had returned the car with a full tank of gas. They verified this is what their records showed, apologized for the error, but claimed they were powerless to escalate the issue unless I could provide gas receipts showing I had fueled the car (which I no longer have, should not need, and ultimately prove nothing). It appears what's written in their closed contracts is worthless. Budget can charge you whatever they feel like after the fact, and you have zero recourse, unless you have the time and energy to take them to court. UPDATE: While the North American customer service continued to do nothing about my complaint, the folks at the Brisbane location where I returned the car reached out to me after reading my review and made everything right. :-)
