We engaged Marcel Stam of Bundaberg Building & Pest Inspections to provide reports for a prospective house purchase. The house was close to immaculate in regards to internal presentation, was marketed as a 4BR home and furnished as such. Marcel's report was comprehensive but his ability to translate somewhat complex information to allow a non-technical buyer to understand the more important issues was priceless. He identified that the 4BR home was more correctly 3BR following local government regulations. Also, stairs in the two-storey house did not meet current building standards. Roof supports in the garage were installed by the owner and not adequately secured. This was identified to the owner and he screwed them in but this was an amateurish quick-fix and further information from Marcel gave me a professional view as to how it can be fixed properly. An essential pest protection barrier was not installed during recent renovations and had been missed by building certifiers in their approvals for council. I would never have identified this important risk management matter. All matters that were identified in Marcel's reports were able to be remedied and cost estimated. That is a major benefit in following negotiations.

I used to have huge problems with pests here at home. I was running out of hope when I found this one online. I finally got their services and I am really awed by their methods of inspection all. I recommend Building and Pest Inspection Services to all those who same problems as I do. Really great!
