Dr Richard is one of most caring and understanding doctors I have ever met! I felt valued and respected. He explained things so that I could easily understand. Took his time. Did not hurry the appointment. Would most definitely recommend him. Oh, and he has a beautiful smile!

I would rate Dr Richard Hanley as one of the most impressive doctors I have come across. His caring and friendly manner, and his excellent communication skills took the stress out of my hip surgery, which ended up being a great success.

Shattered my ankle and tore majority of ligaments in June 2019 in a Motorcycle accident. Dr Hanly reviewed my break a week after I broke it, advised it was a difficult break to fix as it required several plates and screws in such a small area. Surgery went perfectly, Dr Hanly was prompt, professional and extremely thorough throughout the entire process. 3 months from thinking I wouldnt walk properly again, I am up an about walking/running at 90% capacity. Bilateral knee replacement Easter 2019. Excellent surgeon, very impressed with post op care, Richard treats his patients with dignity and keeps us fully informed pre op and post op. After 4months still some stiffness but have resumed all normal activities, trekking, cycling, gardening and home maintenance. Scars have healed to the extent they are scarcely noticeable. I thoroughly recommend Richard as an Orthopedic Surgeon.
