Had my wisdom teeth removed recently by Dr Howard Cho who did an amazing job, he calmed my nerves by answering any questions I had with confidence. The ladies in reception are super helpful and very on top of replying to emails and giving a welfare check the day after my surgery which I really appreciate. They were also able to give advice and tips for the recovery and were very supportive. Would recommend going through here for your dental needs.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed on the 20/02/2023 and would highly recommend Dr Matthew Hawthorne to anyone who is considering getting it done. This was my first surgery at 28. I have been putting it off since my orthodontist suggested removing them at age 19 because I was scared of having surgery. The surgery with Dr Hawthorne went really well. I had surgery early in the morning. When I went home after being discharged from hospital, I was pain free the entire time. Dr Hawthorne had given me a long acting local, so I was comfortable for maybe 12-14 hours after surgery. Didn't need to take any pain relief when I got home till the next day. The hospital staff at Chermside Day Hospital were extremely lovely and helpful. It's been almost 2 weeks now since surgery and I never swelled up like a chipmunk. Compared to some of my friends or colleagues whom have had their wisdom teeth removed, all of them commented on how swollen like a chipmunk they were. I had zero swelling, I was alternating ice packs all day for a week and I think that helped with having no swelling. I'm overall extremely happy with how the surgery went, being my first time. I highly recommend Dr Matthew Hawthorne to anyone interested in getting their wisdom teeth removed.

The receptionist Joshua was rude and condescending, failed to return any phone calls regarding my proposed treatment because Dr Hawthorne is to busy to consider referrals without an appoint Informed me of two different consultation fees and continually mislead me regarding the consideration of my request I had informed the practice I didnt want a GA for the removal of an implant ( which was implanted under local anaesthetic) Apparently Dr Hawthorne was to busy to even consider my request or provide respect and information regarding proposed treatment without a $220 consultation
