I had an appointment booked today with Dr Mirciulinda and I accidentally confused the times and came at 1:40 when my appointment was booked at 12:40. After reception had spoken to Dr Mirciulinda I was told I would have to find someone else to treat me, as she didn't want to anymore. I had only cancelled ONE appointment a few weeks earlier, 48 hours in advance, because I didn't have the entire $400 she charges for her appointment. I was really upset and triggered by this experience. It seems completely detached and inconsiderate for someone in mental health care to be so dismissive and unsupportive of a simple mistake. This situation was not handled in a professional or compassionate manner. It is important for healthcare professionals to be understanding and flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments, a good psychiatrist should prioritize the needs of their patients and work with them to find a solution that works for everyone. This person is clearly lacking compassion and understanding and I am unsure as to why they are in mental health care if they can't even be understanding of something like this. Time management and keeping schedule and commitments is literally half my problem with my disorders. This is dangerous behavior, if I were still inclined to self harm, or worse, now would be the time I would be doing it. Dr Mirciulinda is careless and obviously lacks any and all compassion. I am completely disheartened by this experience and wonder if there is even any point in continuing to try and seek help at all. I feel like giving up and giving in. Thank you so much Dr Mirciulinda, for your unprofessional, dismissive and hurtful behavior. I've lost all hope again when I had only just started to get some back. I think you really need to look inwards and ask yourself, should I really be in this profession?

Absolutely disgusting excuse as a mental health facility. The treatment my husband received today is disgusting , extremely dismissive and as he isnt self harming then its not severe and doesnt warrant the assessment which was asked for or review. To also then also be charged $400 for a 30mins appointment as he was running late . With the treatment at this practice you understand why QLD health is such a disgrace .

Very unprofessional, I had to chase them up multiple times to get them to answer my emails. I was told a single appointment would be sufficient, and then after 6 months and no response they said I need to come in again to talk to them and wouldn't tell me why. They don't care about patients and just want your money, stay away.

I recently saw DR.Mirciulina Aciu regarding an Adult ADHD diagnosis. I was seen within 2 weeks of my referral date. DR Aciu was very easy to talk to and answered any questions I had confidently, was very discreet and respectful. I was referred for an ECG and drug screen and after that a 2nd appointment with DR.Aciu again within 2 weeks to discuss treatment options including medications. The whole process was easy to navigate and the reception staff were polite and helpful. I would recommend this clinic to others who may be in a similar position to myself.

Got in touch on 2nd November with a referral from my GP and the receptionist told me theyd be in touch within days. I got a text today (more than two months later) letting me know my referral was approved. Good thing I found a reliable psychiatrist in the meantime. Also worth noting that I had to call well over 10 times before my first phone call was even answered. Theres a reason this place only has 2.9/5 stars. No reputable and caring psychiatrist has a rating this low.
