Dr David Christie ordered an MRI of my shoulder and upon my return visit he pin pointed the area which has been giving me pain for the last 2 years and gave me a Steroid injection. That was 4 months ago during which time I have had complete pain relief. I wish I had been referred to him earlier following 4 earlier attempts by other Radiologists which did little to no effect.

Dr Christie operated on my husbands shoulder - he had a torn rotator cuff and a torn biceps. He was in alot of pain all the time and being an electrician - he was becoming very limited in the work he could carry out. Dr Christie was fantastic. Graham had the surgery and then went to physio and did what the physio said religiously. He now has no pain and full use of his shoulder.

Having severely torn my Supraspinatus tendon and injured my bicep tendon on my right side, I was referred to Dr Christie by my GP. From the outset David was very professional, courteous and informative. He explained the surgery in detail and what to expect over the ensuing months. My surgery was completed on 1-11-21 and the only pain I encountered was immediately following the procedure. I slept well that night and the following day only experienced moderate discomfort. I had my follow up consultation on 11-11-21where David talked me through my surgery, even showing me the images during the procedure, which I found absolutely fascinating and informative. This gave me an in-depth insight into the recovery process and why I should and shouldnt do certain things for the best possible outcome. 2 weeks post surgery and Im feeling fantastic (well as good as I can in a sling) and the prognosis for a full recovery is very positive indeed. Overall an outstanding experience and Im looking forward to 2022 knowing life will once again be back to normal. Thank you David. Aaron Grundy
