Dr Simon Nasser has been my E.N.T Specialist for 2 years since I was diagnosed with Cancer , I was so pleasantly surprised to meet and be treated by an Honest to the point Doctor . No messing about ,here's the plan, lets get you fixed up , that's what he said and that's what he did along with the great team of Chemo and Radiation experts . I know I am one of the lucky ones ,but I felt like I was in good hands from day 1. Simon made myself and my wife Ruth feel at ease and hopeful from the moment we met .Thank-you for your Professional and Forthright approach to assist in getting me back to full health .

Dear All, My Mum who is 70+ has Dry Mouth condition from almost 2 years now , we have tried all options and still not able to find some specialist who can cure her ailment. As a last resort our GP suggested to check with ENT specialist, as it was on medicare you have to wait for atleast 1.5 months to get your appointment which is fine , but you have expectation that specialist might suggest some path forward not cure , but atleast path forward or some options that we can try and not direct back to GP . Most disappointing experience is Doc Simon had not gone through her Medical History prior our appointment and we wasted 20 mins explaining her medical history in bits and pieces that he gathered out of 30 mins of his appointment time.He did 2 test which you can get it done at any hospital and unfortunately that day my mum's mouth was not as dry as it normally would be , but giving no consideration to her condition doctor was more inclined to finish his appointment and i was expecting some advice or based on his experience what else we can do because she had a problem and was in pain. This doc are stick to Report output and none of them are inclined to think OOTB and assist Patient to cure her ailment , i believe medical audit should be conducted on such doctors who stick to report output and not assist patient to cure there Medical ailment , where Patient is still in grave pain . I would recommend not to waste your time , as i had already updated my GP that it was complete waste of Time and not to refer same doc to any one else in future. There is no initiative to assist patient and find out the root cause what else might be bothering this Old Lady who is in pain rather kicking her out and directing back to GP. My Mum of 74 did Colonoscopy and Endoscopy both on same day which is really her will power that she was able to pull it of for expecting to Cure her Random Stomach Ache issue,another BIG disappointment at Royal Brisbane & Womens Hospital Dept of Gastroenterology and Hepatology ..my mum has random severe stomach ache and we are not able to resolve it....update we received reports are ok She has no issues , not a single initiative or reference was included which might assist my mother to manage , we have really good Diet routine for her, but were failed by these Specialist. I am in IT and if a software has issues and not performing as intended for which customer had paid in full, will i say to him that error log looks Good no problem reported , so software should work as intended..where is the problem here....Person is still in pain.. I am looking for some Reference where i can escalate to Knowledgeable Medical Community of Australia for my Mum and win this race for her and not waste any Time with GP and their references whcih has not assistemd me in any way..I am out of options and would request anyone to direct me to this Body so that i can share her reports and get proper Diagnosis to cure her rather than just use My Medicare card.
