I can't recommend Dr Labrom highly enough, every so often you come across people who change people's lives for the better, Dr Labrom is one of those. A Life changing Dr. My daughter developed sever Scoliosis a few years ago which we went about trying to get fixed for her to have a comfortable life. Firstly, our local GP referred us to another specialist in Brisbane who only wanted to do Thorascopic Spinal Surgery to fix our daughters Scoliosis. The part I wasn't happy with & which made us look elsewhere was that when we asked him directly about the risks of the surgery, recovery time etc. he avoided answering them & we left the appointment a bit disillusioned by him. After that not so great experience with the first Dr, I did some more research online & found out that Dr Labrom was another Dr in Brisbane who had the ability to do Thorascopic Spinal Surgery so I organised an appointment for us to go see Dr Labrom. Needless to say, the experience from the start was fantastic, Dr Labrom advised us that if our daughter didn't mind the scar at the back, open back surgery would offer a much better result over Thorascopic Spinal Surgery and the risks & recovery would be much less. He never once tried to dodge any questions about risks or recovery so we went ahead with Dr Labroms recommendations & were very comfortable with him doing the surgery. Our daughter ended up with a terrific result and a quick recovery, much better than we could ever wish for, you would never tell she has ever had the surgery unless you knew already. I'm so glad I got a 2nd opinion from Dr Labrom, he's so bloody good. Check out the Xrays to see for yourself.
