An unpleasant surprise from Peter today. I asked on the phone how much will he charge for 1L concentrated sulfuric acid to try and unblock a drain. He told me $ 18.00. That was fine, as last time I paid a similar amount from him as well. When I arrived there, he told me that it is 1.8 kg and he is selling it by kg, hence he will charge me $27.50. I agreed with the new price as well. I handed him my credit card to pay and to my surprise, when I looked at transaction history he has charged me $ 37.50. I would have not left the negative feedback if he would have been upfront with the price. I understand that the price of products has increased, however, I would have appreciated upfront honesty about the price, rather than just charging it on my credit card without asking if I agree to the new price. In light of the response from Peter I have to add: the price quoted over the telephone was per litre of acid, not per kg. Hence, I would suggest that you stop twisting the truth. Like I said, I have purchased it from you approximately three months ago and you have charged me around 17 dollars. No one ( and I have done a search for 98% Sulfuric acid) sells it by kg, they sell it by litre as it is a liquid, it's not lyophilised or sold as a solid salt. Like I said, it is not the price, as I was desperate enough to have it that I would have paid $50 a litre. It is the fact that you lied to me. Both on the telephone ( where you took your time to check the price per litre) and then at your premises, where you informed me that " careful as it is heavy" and it weighs 1.8 kg, to make your case for overcharging me. So again, I would have had no issue with the price if you would have been upfront and informed me. And no, I have not heard the final price as $37.40, but I heard $27.50 and yes, I agreed to that price. Had you charged me $27.50 as you said in the shop, I would have not left the one star review. I have left the review as you have overcharged me by 10 dollars and that is dishonest. Also the charge per kg is pretty dishonest as well, considering that everyone else sels theirs by the litre. Look, I guess I will be buying my products from elsewhere. Plenty of places sell the acid for around $ 18.00 a litre still.

I absolutely love ALL Gleam it products. Knowing its made in Australia and the chemicals work fantastically. I will continually use gleam it forever and the staff are very helpful.
