Im always passing by on my way to Yulara. Their pies and pasties are fantastic and the coffee is great- such a gem of a place and people. I wanted to suggest however, that the toilets are in urgent need of a clean! Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet More

After staying at Yulara for 5 days sick as dogs with the flu and malnourished from not feeling like eating we travelled on towards Alice Springs once we were well enough and stopped here to get some lunch. Let me tell you that steak sandwich was the MOST DELICIOUS steak sandwich Ive ever had in my life! I immediately felt like my health was restored. The chip and THAT GRAVYmmmmm yummo! Best gravy ever. We dream of that meal, best recovery meal we ever had! Lovely staff too! Food & drinks: AWESOME! Delicious! Fresh! Nourishing

$28 for a dry, stale rock hard egg and bacon burger, stale sausage roll and an NT sticker. Just needed a quick bite to eat but I should've just kept going.

Bit of a longer review but we spend our life on the road now so I feel the need to share red flags especially given costs. We were unable to shower in our 125$ per night cabin due to the extreme putrid smell of rotten eggs (sulphate) when opening the taps. These taps were basically green and water stained all over the tiling. We could have booked an 80$ cabin with shared amenities instead. (do this) To start with , the lady who checked us in and ordered our food lacked any type of personality, she was clearly new and a backpacker so excuses there for her but we did not appreciate her staunch behavior and eye rolling especially as paying guests. Those who weren't serving us were far more friendly and attentive then the one standing right Infront. I do want to note the nice owners and the man who brought us over to our cabin, thanks guys! ( I will say the backpacker was kinder in the morning when we were getting coffees) The woman over the phone had said 105, the website said 105 and we were charged 125, no complaints but this isn't a great start. The place is ok, clean enough in the cabins just don't look up! our toilets door was broken so those walking by our cabin could see in. The cabin was freezing at night and they don't provide the best linen or extra blankets so we used our own to stay warm. We ordered dinner in the roadhouse, it was ok and the pub insides are decorated nicely with boastful collections and one very fat snake for you to wonder in while you wait for your meal, though the quality of food is probably just what you can do on a camp stove, very basic (don't order anything with mash) The ash trays are filled with spiders and have not been emptied for a long time. The camel farm is not open in 2023 due to "covid" a lazy excuse given the fact NT was the most unscathed part of AUS and we are 3 years post now. I feel it may be a more of a lifestyle change for the owners or struggles to keep people to stay out here to work. I know most roadhouses in rural nt need some funding and a facelift but this pace is definitely high on that list. We were desperate for a night off the road and needed a break, Stuart Well gave us this but we won't be part of the returning guest list.
