Tregea Landscaping

Charged $388 to pick up some leaves out of my flower beds, mow, and spray Round Up. They do not advertise the correct hourly rate and they did not tell us. I called and was told that they tell everybody because they have been caught before.. She said we have it in the email but I can assure they did not tell us. They quoted me 80$ an hour and sent two guys. But never told us that its 80$ per hour, per person. Seems like they should disclose that information. Or give you an hourly rate based on the number of workers. Will not be using this service anymore. Look at the names of all the reviewers that gave 5 stars.

TL:DR Tregea Landscaping wrecked our lawn and irrigation. We left it a little late resulting in the previous company we used being fully booked and unable to attend. From the start I was not impressed with the whole process. I called to get a quote and was told to go to the website and fill in the form which was unnecessarily complicated. They eventually arrived and actually did an OK job in pruning the garden. The problem arose upon the next visit to prune the hedge which is quite high. Having previously been on site we erroneously assumed that they knew the height of the hedge. They did not bring the correct equipment and proceeded to drive their truck back and forth over our lawn creating huge ruts and destroying part of our irrigation in the process. We left for holiday the day after so could not check it out properly. A friend sent us pictures of the damage and when I queried Tregea Landscaping on the matter the reply was : "The guys had trouble getting the machinery to the area and on completing the work filled in the ruts with soil and redressed the area. This should all have grown back by the time spring comes back around. We have already reduced the bill by two hours and obviously not included the time or topdressing for the repairs." The invoice reflected none of this(not to say that it did not happen). When we returned from our holiday I checked out the irrigation and found it to be damaged. I contacted Tregea Landscaping and they gave me a 3 day window in which they would be there to repair the damage, needless to say late on the 3rd day they arrived. The repairs were not entirely satisfactory but at this stage I just want nothing more to do with them. Service: Landscaping maintenance
