Sakura Sushi Japanese Restaurant

I reviewers Sakura 6 years ago with Favourite restaurant in Wollongong! Can't go past the Salmon avocado roll and vegetable tempura. Dumplings and chicken teriyaki are also great. Great quality seafood :) 6 years later and Sakura is still my favourite place in Wollongong to eat. I now bring my kids here and as a family we love stuffing our faces with sushi! My 4 year old loves greeting all the chefs and workers like old friends and watching them make sushi. They are always kind and welcoming. Our favourites are the salmon avo roll, chicken katsu avo roll, chicken karage, sashimi, green beans, dumplings and kingfish crunchy roll. Always hits the spot!

We ordered 4 seperate lunch meals ( 3 rolls and a bento) .. 3 of the meals came out 10 minutes apart and the last never arrived. After we had finished i asked where the other teriyaki roll was and they took it out of a takeaway order, dropped it on a plate and handed it too me. Then charged us for it!! Stay away, there are way better sushi places in Wollongong
