We purchased an Austral Fold Away 51 Rotary Clothesline, in March of 2019. Our order was taken by Dylan, and this bloke could not have been more helpful. In fact he was so enthusiastic about 'his' product, we nearly bought off him--even though we needed only one! An absolute pleasure to deal with and does this bloke know his stuff!. Then a few days ago we had a tree come down across our clothes line. It wasn't pretty bent over laying on the ground, however a closer inspection revealed that only a small section of the pole had actually broken--and even then, it wasn't broken right through! Incredible. Anyway, a call firstly, to The Clothesline Store and then to Austral (direct), where Jason asked me to email a photo of the damaged part. He was very soon back to me, to advise that not only could he supply that particular part, he could supply either a brand new part (slightly different Green) or a 2nd hand one (cheaper) which was unmarked. We settled on the 2nd hand part as it the same green colour as the original; and the very next day, a courier delivered the 'new' part. Talk about wonderful service. In fact, if only every business was like to this. As aside, we chose the Austral Clothes Line over its major competitor because the Austral is made here in Australia (unlike its competitor), by an Australian company. Jason advised that had our line been the other brand, we would not have been able to purchase just the damaged part, we would have had to purchase a brand new clothes hoist. If that's not a message to buy Australian made and deal with an Australian company...then I don't know what is. 10 stars to this great company. Alan. 25.3.21. Service: Delivery
