Couldn't praise YouRoom enough !!! As a first time traveller, arriving to Australia from England was daunting enough, and there was so much going on with trying to find a job and a house - the last thing I needed was to worry about getting screwed over by a landlord and losing the little money I had. I chose YouRoom because the house and rooms were clean and immaculately decorated (credit to YouRoom interior designer Sabrina who did such a good job of making it nice and homely!!) and most importantly they took over handling all the legal stuff that I had no idea about. You don't want to get caught in a situation where you're losing money or stuck without a roof over your head, and Lou and the team took all the weight off my shoulders by using their legal expertise and in depth knowledge of the Australian property market to handle all the complicated stuff. It literally was as simple as filling out a couple of forms before moving in, then setting up a payment to come out every week for rent! Too easy! The property itself was lovely, you can tell the team really took the time to pick a property in good condition and update it with new on trend furnishings and fresh paint. The experience was great as you can also have a say in who you live with (nothing worse than having complete weirdos moving in and being stuck living with them !!) because you create an online profile and Lou and the team will select other tenants based on your likes/dislikes etc. Also can't not mention the amazing house nights Lou plans, Holy Moly in Newtown was a personal fav, complete with a $300 bar tab !! Overall I had a great experience with Youroom, it allowed me to live in an awesome location in the city that I otherwise wouldn't be able to afford, took all the hassle and worry away from renting a place, and I made some of my best friends there. So many great little touches included that I can't name all of them, but a welcome pack telling you the best spots for coffee and happy hours in the area was a life saver, as well as netflix, stan and bills all included in your rent (which is crazy for the price!) - and of course gotta give credit to YouRoom founder Lou, whos just an all round ledge. Those Friday nights when you popped over out of the blue with wine and beer for all will never be forgotten xD

YouRoom is by far the best agency I have ever dealt with. We was told wifi wouldnt be available until January (moved in late November), straight away Lou sorted out temporary wifi. Before we even moved in Lou pointed out little things they are fixing straight away. Offered extra fridge space if needed.. the list goes on. Price is extremely fair; fully furnished, to the point we only needed to buy bedding, all bills covered (including netflix & stan). 10/10 for YouRoom. P.s. because these guys deal with you indivudually no one needs to be the lease holder, so if a room is empty YouRoom cover the costs.

Our experience with YouRoom couldnt of been better, Lou works hard to make sure your experience is one to remember and goes above and beyond for all his tenants. Any issues we had were fixed pretty much immediately and he even booked events for all of us which was a lovely touch. Couldnt recommend more.

Staying with Youroom has been good, specially when talking about money issues. You can see that they are very organized and honest company
