Paul Harvey Optometry

I had a great experience with Ben Lu for my most recent eye test. He is very thorough, clear in his explanations, and took the time to answer my many questions. You can tell he loves what he does. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good optometrist.

Not very happy they charge you extra for retinal imaging without ask which I've told them I'm just doing a vision exam for new glasses and if I know that I won't ask for check also spacesaver offers free retinal imaging check,I've done the check more than 10 times at different optical store past years (chain and independent) and I know what retinal imaging is but never got charged. Doggy.

Had an eye test with Paul Harvey Optometry a week ago and the service was ok but they were very focused on getting a sale from you, rather than catering to what you needed. I wasn't rushed by the optometrist during the eye test etc, I was even upsold a retina check that cost me a significant amount, however, after getting my script, my PD (Pupil Distance) wasn't included on the prescription. I gave them a call the next day and asked why my PD wasn't on the script. I was told by the representative that they did not check my PD on purpose since I mentioned that i'm not getting my glasses from them (this is because they did not have the brand I was looking for or anything similar: sunglasses made from recycled material), so I asked if I can just drop by and get my PD checked (since I know that the process would only take less than a minute to do), and she told me that I would need to be charged an appointment fee again to get my PD checked. A full fee, for a service that would take less than a minute, and could have been done during the consultation. Disappointing.
