Dr Gareth Owen

I was very impressed with Dr Gareth Owen. He is an excellent surgeon with extensive knowledge of complex colorectal issues. I initially had some concerns with complex colorectal surgery, but he had the patience and expertise to explain things in great detail at a level which I could understand.

If you are looking for a colorectal surgeon who listens to you, provides beautiful bedside manner and support, then you need to get a referral to Dr Gareth Owen in Sydney. I have a complex medical history, mainly bowel related. I had a temporary ileostomy in July 2021 after being in St Vincents Private in Sydney for 2 weeks under a physician, as Gareth was trying something new. The ileostomy worked out which part of my bowel was the issue and I had major elective surgery 2 weeks ago. I was always kept updated, asking how I was feeling, if there was anything he could do. I cant thanks Gareth enough for everything he has done for me, he believed me when other doctors didnt, heres to my fresh start :)

the best man ever saw other doctors for my issue .Kind respectfull considerate. Compassionate emphatic respectfull down to earth . I could go on. Thank You Dr Owen .

Such a caring Professional Dr. I would highly recommend this wonderful specialist, whom looked after me at St Vincents Private Hodpital.
