Ive had 2 surgeries to remove severe nasal polyps in the last 10 yrs. Dr Banks operated on me in August 2022 and my quality of life has improved exponentially. Ive got my sense of smell which Id lost for the last 15 yrs and can finally breathe through my nose. Dr Banks and her team are life savers and I highly recommend her to anyone whos suffering with nasal issues today. Shes the best in the business and Ill be eternally grateful to her.

A great experience for me and my son to resolve my 4yo son's hearing. Dr Banks and team are fantastic. As we live far from Sydney were very accommodating with appointments. Managed to get into surgery fast. Fantastic in communicating with my son and explaining surgery to me. Justine and Lisa also deserve a special mention in being awesome. I have no hesitation in recommending.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Dr Catherine Banks and specialist nurse, Justine Oates and would highly recommend them. Dr Banks performed bilateral endoscopic sinus surgery for me in late 2021 as I had chronic sinusitis which had plagued me for years. Dr Banks and her team provided exceptional care pre, during and post opp and my quality of life has improved 100%. I had my 12 month post opp follow up yesterday with near perfect results and I'm happy to report I haven't experienced headaches, sleep disruption or the constant sinus symptoms since my recovery. It was well worth it. Thank you Dr Banks and Justine

Id like to share the bad experience I had with their receptionist. I am a traveller and visited Dr Banks office a few days ago. There were two receptionists, I spoke with the lady seated on the right. I asked her that I dont have an appointment but if is still possible to see the doctor today. From the country I am from, and the country I live in, it is common to go to specialist and register without going to the GP first, so I thought it might be possible in Australia as well. But the lady looked at me like I was stupid and said this is a specialist, not a GP. Feeling embarrassed I said oh I am not from here, I was just traveling and I didnt know how the system works in Australia. So I need to go to GP first? Where is GP? In the countries I mentioned GP is always in the same building with other specialists, so I thought it would be the same and asked, then she again looked at me like I was asking some stupid questions and said I dont know. This is specialist. I am not from this area either. you just have to google it. I understand the message which is nothing wrong, however to me the tone and manner matter as much as the message itself. The way she was speaking to me was very rude and condescending which made me feel very uncomfortable. I visited Dr Banks office because the reviews were fantastic and I am sure she is a great doctor, however the reception is the first point of contact for patients and it is an utter shame that patients have bad experience with the reception and leave before even seeing the doctor. Thank you for reading and my feedback is taken positively.
