My optometrist is the awesome Dr Whitney Lam. She is dedicated and thorough, and shows incredible care for her patients vision. Best optometrist ever !!!

Shop is hard to find and not on street level, picked up my contact lenses and on arrival they found they ordered the wrong lenses

I left a brand new pair of designer frames (which cost $600) to get prescription lenses put in. I informed the staff member on multiple occasions that the frames are brand new and to please ensure the upmost care is taken with them when putting in the prescription lenses. The staff member yeah yeahed me which really didnt give me much confidence that she was taking my request on board. I got my brand new frames back and they are scratched and scuffed and look worse for wear, like they are an old pair. I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed, especially as a long time HCF member. Absolutely unacceptable HCF. 0 STARS.**EDITED** After leaving this review the store manager reached out to me to apologise and rectify the problem. He ordered a new pair of frames and replaced the damaged pair which I am grateful for. Although the whole situation was stressful and should not have happed at all, I have to give credit for the effort to fix the problem and the customer service in doing so. I have edited my rating to reflect the entire experience.

Staff are helpful and efficient. Only issue is that I was told that a certain eye drops was cheaper than a wholesale chemist store. I purchased it at HCF town hall branch for $24. I went to my local Woolworths - it was $10 less, and of a similar price at the wholesale chemist As a HCF customer for the past 17 years, I feel misled
