Dr Clare, and her team at Macquarie Street, were professional, caring and we received exemplary advice. My daughter has a combination of medical and neurological conditions which has made it difficult to find a specialist who can understand the fullness of the problems she deals with on a day to day basis. This is work in progress, with an ophthalmologist willing to help. 5 Stars

I didn't even make it into an appointment after being relentlessly harassed by her reception who stated that I should go to the Sydney Eye Hospital, even though I was referred for a neurological condition. After four phone calls it still wasn't enough for either them or her to understand the problem for which I was being referred. I ended up cancelling the appointment due to the ineptitude of her staff and herself who cannot seem to understand that her specialty also includes the brain and if that's too hard for her to understand then she should be in a different job. From the reception alone, I wouldn't waste my time dealing with these people.

My experience with Dr Fraser was excellent from start to finish. I had a couple of referrals from different sources each with notes and test results. Dr Fraser's team had sorted all details out prior to my appointment, I was put through a couple of further tests then spoke to Dr Fraser. Dr Fraser's assessment of my situation gave the impression that she had reviewed and understood my medical situation. Her explanations and suggestions were clear and extremely helpful - exactly what I needed. My thanks for a truly professional service.

Dr Clare Fraser lacks professional judgement and after thousands of dollars in clinic visits - she failed to diagnose a serious eye condition, despite having access to tests and clinical reports, which clearly showed what was happening. Her report when the patient presented to an ED DEPT with stabbing eye pain and high intraocular pressures was - tell her nothing more can be done. She placed the patient at great risk and unfortunately the registrar followed her advice and did not follow protocol. This could have resulted in a serious loss of sight! A very dangerous call and a complete failure in her duty of care to the patient. Why would she do that? Not sure, but there was very poor judgement and the blame placed on the patient that they were exaggerating or that it was perhaps psychological! It wasn't at all, she was just too distracted, disinterested to investigate the case, in the manner it required, so it was easier to dismiss it. An optometrist in a shopping centre was able to diagnose in one session, what Dr Fraser has failed to diagnose and failed to treat over 3 months and thousands of dollars. The patient is now being treated with medication and scheduled for sight saving surgery! Such unnecessary stress and trauma for the patient, and Dr Fraser detached, and completely removed from any responsibility or care. Please think seriously before placing your health and your eyesight into her unprofessional and uncaring hands. There are better options available - every patient deserves good, reliable and considerate care.
