HalfCut and Rainforest4 regularly travel thousands of kilometres to my Daintree rainforest home. Members of both groups harass and threaten local residents. Is your donation being used to pay solicitors to send concerns notices to anybody who challenges their rhetoric? Is your money helping terrorise numerous residents by demanding legal costs of $1,200 plus GST and threatening to sue for defamation?

I love what this charity continues to do for forests, wildlife, people, climate and our planet. In the midst of the code red climate crisis inviting people to take action in a fun new way to save our forests

As long as half-cut continues to weaponise his so called charity against the Daintree community we will continue to expose him for the scammer he is

I'm happy to see rainforest fundraising being made accessible to so many new people. Keep up the great work!

The lowland Daintree rainforest was subdivided into 1,100 small residential blocks by a dubious process of converting lease to freehold involving developer George Quaid, Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen and Minister for everything Russ Hinze back in the early 1980s. This special part of Australia should have instead been converted to National Park for protection for perpetuity considering its global significance of biodiversity, particularly its evolution of plants. Ever since, various organisations have been undoing this failing of planning policy by incrementally purchasing available properties through consensus and voluntary acquisitions and donating back to National Parks. Additionally, traditional owners have been involved every step of the way. Thank You HalfCut and your remarkable team for real on the ground conservation outcomes. The amount of land revegetated and acquired for protection is remarkable. Your work will have an ongoing legacy that future generations will appreciate and admire.
