Formally known as Cornelius Court building, also known as Daily Telegraph Building, Elystan Chambers, Cornelius Court, this is a rather small but imposing building that once was the Daily Telegraph building. This is Victorian Free Classical style architecture and a State Heritage building. Built in 1888 significant year as the centenary of the first landing in Australia by British. It was originally a four storey building but extended to six floors with painted cement rendered faade, stucco detailing with timber framed windows. It has long been associated with the Daily Telegraph from 1888 to 1914. Another spectacular addition to the heritage of this beautiful city of Sydney and absolutely worth a look.
