My property manager (M.F) broke several rules of conduct outlined in the "Properties and Stock Agents Regulation 2022" legislation and has been reported to Fair Trading NSW. For all the tenants out there being mistreated by unprofessional agents - you have a voice. Know your rights and reach out to Fair Trading for more information. Remember to claim the bond yourself (paper form or rental bonds online) the moment you return your keys. If they follow up on any outstanding payments threatening to take you to NCAT and demand you pay for their fees, understand what they're stating is incorrect and illegal and is a clear breach of the rules of conduct. Log all your emails, collect your evidence, do your part and report every agent that abuses their power and continues their predatory practices. Enough is enough, they cannot keep getting away with it. Edit: - Reposting this cus they forcibly removed my review. - Also ignore their copy & paste response regarding feedback, they simply ignore all your emails. - Fair Trading have reviewed & substantiated my claim. Appropriate penalty has been carried out to the individual/PIA.
