        The Newington Armory wharf area is part of the Newington Armament Depot and Nature Reserve (Newington Armory) heritage-listed precinct. The wharf area is from the Murama Healing Space to the boat jetty near the Armory Wharf Caf. I find it a beautiful spot to watch the ferries and boats passing regularly on the Parramatta River. The jetty was once used as a ferry wharf when the Wentworth Point wharf was under renovation. Great place to bring the kids and watch waterbirds and explore the many attractions nearby.
